38. ROMAN EAR SCOOP
A lovely roman bronze ear scoop which would have once been attached to bronze keyring or chatelaine. Decorated with a crossed design. 3rd or 4th century AD.
Roman toilet sets were common objects often carried for personal grooming. Usually fixed upon a keyring-like loop, they would include tweezers, an ear-scoop and nail cleaner.
