Roman lead steelyard weight with iron ring. These items date from the 1st to 5th Centuries A.D. This is a good example in remarkable condition . They had a variety of uses which included, weighing out measures of corn and other foodstuffs and were used with a steelyard scale.
Condition: Excellent. Quite heavy!
