A large late Roman glass bottle with globular body and tall tubular neck. This vessel has areas of wonderful irridescence (see photos) most of which is obscured under red-brown soil deposits. It would really benefit from a gentle clean to remove the soil. A large example of fine late Roman glass, C. 4th - 6th Century A.D.
Condition: Excellent. No chips or cracks.
